The ultimate way to get a fresher software job.

If you are a fresher, no matter which discipline you are from, looking for a job then this article is specially made for you.
I am not going to spoonfeed you one telling you how to do and what to do...
If you are desparately looking for the job then you will realise how valuable this article is.
Lets start.

The first thing you must do is be determined to follow the steps i gonna tell you without fail. If you follow the steps, it is definite that you are going to land in a good job.

Avoid laziless:
By laziness i dont mean you sleeping all the time, but the idle time you keep wasting each day.Always remember that there is nothing called as free lunch which means you can't get anything for free.
so just sit and think at the end of the day on what you have done and what effor have you taken to get a job.

Dont be ignorant about your career:
My career is web development programming.Imagine this article talking about you own career interests say networking etc.My aim was to develop a website that contains a registration form allowing my site vistors to register, have a forum for users to discuss and lots of features on my website.I searched in google on how forums are programmed and how websites are hosted. I got to know about the various web technologies like PHP, J2EE, .NET. and started learning them. Just reading books alone wont let us achieve our aim. I planned to do one project on j2ee and build a website on it.

Looking for oppurtunities :
To do a project internet and resources alone are not necessary for me. I thought NIIT, SSI and other such institutes are just certificate providers. But i changed my view about it and planned to use it as a project guidance. So i joined a training institute not just to complete the course but started to work on my project incrementally. It involved lot of problems, frustrations, anger and embarassments. My only point was... we pay them fee and they are my servants and they have to teach me and i made sure that they teach each and everything in my syllabus and implemented practically in lab. I would also ask for tasks that involved making a sample program or small application on what was thought for that day in the class.

Doing homework:
Started working on the project sincerely and troubled all the ppl trainers, managers and all tech leaders etc to learn how to install the necessary softwares, how to run programs, etc. I did the same at home. Most of the time ill get frustrated that i cudn't make it.. But my only belief was "ppl succeed becoz they try one more time" this i did till i suceeded to get what i wanted.

Time management:
At the end of the day before going to bed i document in my diary on what i learnt for the day.
This made me realised the importance of each day and every second. I never kept myself idle. only 7 hrs of sleep. rest was to goto classes and work on project, come home and do the same. The most troubled ppl are my trainers and helpers at my institute becoz when they ill tell u shortl, ill clarify tomorow or if the tried to postpone to answer my questions, i keep nudging them daily till they kept me clear. I did this becoz i paid that much for the j2ee course and im not slave to listen to thier lazy response.

Teach some one to learn more:
When i tried to make my frens understand some concept, i learnt it thoroughly and made sure that what i teach was not wrong. So helping my fellow students there helped me learn 10 times that what was taought in the classes.

Searching for job:
There are lot number of companies looking for freshers or 1 yr exp with hands on skills on j2ee, .net and php. If u did one project on your own without outsourcing it to someone else, you are sure to get the job.

ppl at this status write your details in comments..ill let u know what do to next in my next post.

Working in small company is better than in big company

Dis advantages of working in Big companies:
It doesn't mean that ppl working in big companies are always in better place than people working in smaller companies. In Big companies he fact is...
  • No recognition for individual effort in the mass.
  • Stick to just one role.just as a programmer or a tester.
  • Have people for each and everything to take care of your computer issues, reports.
  • A programmer is only a programmer and he doesn't handle req specs, desinging, modeling, testing, validating and documenting.

Advantages in small companies:
I work in a small company and enjoy doing things that follow..

  • Programming, testing, validating, documenting.
  • Handling telephone calls.
  • Ordering stationaries.
  • Prepare my own coffee in the cafeteria.
  • Restock cafeteria items.
  • Crawl on the floor.
  • Access internet full time.
  • Come to office anytime and leave office anytime as they want me to just compete the task for the day and stay free.
  • Work on multipole technologies.
  • Handle our computer issues, installation, resolve virus attack ourself.
  • Switch on generators when power is off.
  • open the office door, switch on lights fan when i am the first to start the day at office.
  • Take different managerial roles when necessary.
  • Move along with my BOSS and managers.
  • Your work is known uniquely among your colleagues.

Do you think you get these many things to experience in a very big company????????

Google tracking you internet activities

Google is tracking and collecting data on search behaviour and activities online. Google claims that they have been doing this for further innovations on web search and to improve the experience of its users.
Questiions arise against using user's privacy which is not under full-proof security...
Should google and other search engines continue storing data beyond breaking user's privacy??
